Early experiences working with students struggling to read started me on a journey to find ways to help make learning accessible, meaningful and empowering for all learners. A former German teacher, I transitioned to educational technology in 1996 and have been privileged to support pre-service language teachers (K-12 and university) in their use of mediated technologies to support and engage all learners. I currently teach online for the University of Maryland University College, where I developed and teach a course for the Online Graduate Certificate in Instructional Technology Integration Program.
