About Me

I am a licensed professional teacher who holds a doctorate degree in Educational Management. I have also completed the academic requirements leading to another doctorate degree, Doctor of Rural Development(DRD) major in Information Transfer. I finished three master's degrees in Business Administration (MBA), with honors at San Pedro College-Graduate School of Business, Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in English Language Teaching (ELT) at the Philippine Normal University (PNU), Manila,& recently Master in Public Administration (MPA). Obtained my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education (BSE) major in English at PNU. Despite these academic achievements, I wish to finish another degree, Bachelor of Laws which I started at the UPHS, now I am currently pursuing at the College of Maasin-School of Law. For six years (1992--1998), I was employed as a secondary school teacher in public schools in Muntinlupa & Taguig City. In 1998, I transferred to a private institution of higher learning, where I taught for ten years. On the side, I've been connected as part-time instructor with various tertiary educational institutions which include my Alma Mater (PNU), West Bay College, Datamex Computer College, IETI College, San Pedro College, and STI College. After ten years of teaching in the private school, I decided to join the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun), a locally government-funded University. At PLMun, I rose from the ranks, from an ordinary classroom instructor in 2002 to becoming the College of Arts and Sciences English Coordinator in 2003, Director of the University's Center for Research and Development in 2004, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs in 2005, Dean of the College of Education and simultaneously Associate Dean of the institution's Center for Graduate Studies in 2006. Along with these, I was elected President of PLMun Faculty Association which should have given me the opportunity to become the University's Faculty Regent. At the same time, I was designated as Chairman of the Faculty and Staff Development Committee. At present, I am the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Graduate School of the College of Maasin in Southern Leyte, Philippines. My immense passion for teaching and for educating the youth has inspired me and my wife, CARMEN, to put up a school, the "WELLSPRING OF GRACE SCHOOL" (Pre-School, Grade School & High School) in San Pedro, Laguna, where I serve as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, while my wife as the School Principal. This same passion made me received numerous recognitions as an educator, as well as citations of appreciation as a resource speaker in various seminar-workshops, lecture, forums, symposiums, and conferences, both local and national levels. I am a father to two lovely boys, PAOLO and PATRICK, who, next to GOD, I consider as the source of all my inspirations. For the glory of His Kingdom...!
