    About Me

Dr. Jenny Walker is President of Cyberbullying Consulting Ltd. Her website (www.cyberbullyingnews.com) summarizes rapidly changing cyberbullying and online safety/digital citizenship information to help busy researchers, professionals and educators stay up-to-date. Her website filters and summarizes the explosion of information regarding research, relevant conferences and events, who’s who in the field, and which organizations are leading the way in prevention efforts. The website was designed to provide a “clearing house” for information in the United States as well as globally and to create a network of support for professionals in the field. Born and raised in England, Jenny has held key positions in business and finance institutions in London, Hong Kong, and the US. Having also traveled in Europe, Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Mexico, she is therefore particularly interested in the issue of cyberbullying and online safety/digital citizenship from a global perspective. Jenny received a B.A. in Business Administration at the University of Humberside in England, an M.A. in Literature, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology (with a focus on cyberbullying) from Arizona State University. She continues to work with ASU professors on publishing a number of articles on the subject of cyberbullying and online safety/digital citizenship. Having taught High School and worked with teens with behavioral and emotional issues at a residential group home, she is constantly amazed and inspired by the creativity, resiliency, optimism, and fearlessness so often demonstrated by young people.
