About Me

I work as a Development Specialist in the Learning Futures Team, Services to Schools, at the National Library of NZ. Prior to that I worked directly with schools as a Library Adviser for many years. Our service aims to continue to build national capacity, capability, greater knowledge and expertise to support learning and literacies - which is a broad mandate - and includes the transformation of school libraries. My role includes content management and editing for our website, and co-ordinating our national PD programme for teachers and school librarians (including our first online courses in 2013). Outside of work I'm a passionate quilter and gardener.
