About Me

I'm an elementary school teacher currently enrolled as a full-time Ph.D. student at the University of New Brunswick. My research interests include: Imaginative Education, problem-based learning in teacher education, children’s historical thinking, social studies educators’ historical thinking, imaginative education and historical thinking, doing history in the early elementary grades, doing history orally, using the arts to facilitate doing history orally, imaginative education and second language learning, early years second language learning, history teaching and democracy, and multiculturalism in education.
