About Me
After 15 years as a documentary and commercial producer, i turned my attention to writing when my daughters were born. At their suggestion we co-created and now write The Great Story World Mix-Up, a chapter book series for elementary students that fosters emotional and experiential learning while piquing interest in factual and fictional people places and times and the science and magic that abounds in them. My experience with my daughters has fostered a passionate belief that students can get their great ideas into the world just like we have. This journey has taken us to many schools in the US and now, around the world through #whatisschool, an international forum I co-created to explore with educators how school is changing and how we can mold it to better nuture skills students will need in the future.
