About Me
Meg Wilson is a special educator and assistive technology specialist with a passion for educating others on the importance of individualizing instruction for all students. She is a certified special educator for K-12 and holds Masters degrees in both Business Administration and Special Education, Assistive Technology. In 2011, Apple, Inc. honored her as an Apple Distinguished Educator. Meg is currently a technology integrator at Avenues: The World School in New York City.
Meg presents at local, statewide, and national conferences in order to offer professional development opportunities for other educators to learn about using iPods, iPhones, and iPads in the classroom. She occasionally blogs at iPodsibilities.com, IEAR.org, and EdReach.us about special education and mobile learning devices, apps, and other iOS-related resources for educators. Meg enjoys co-hosting the MacReach podcast, where she talks all things Apple in education.
