About Me
I have been an educator for 21 years. I taught in Miami Dade County Public Schools for 17 years. Upon earning National Board Certification in Early Childhood, I decided to pursue a doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction. As I worked on my graduate studies, I left the public schools and worked as the Early Childhood Project Coordinator for the Miami Science Museum. I am currently a professor in Miami for the University of Florida. I am blessed to work with public school teachers and early childhood professionals.
