Dr. Evans-Winters' is an associate professor of education with research and teaching interests related to the sociology of education, educational policy, and research methods in education. She is also the founder of #BlackEdu on twitter, and author of Teaching Black Girls: Resiliency in Urban Classrooms as well as other book chapters and academic journal articles.
