About Me

I work as an alcohol and drug counselor part-time while I am a full-time student. The need for education and career planning is achingly real to me Everyday I counsel women that are trying to rebuild their lives. The rewards I receive as I help my clients find their way in the world inspires me to continue my own education to better serve them. Did I mention that I LOVE being a student as well? As they acquire hope and confidence in themselves, returning to school to acquire an education is a dream many of them would not have thought possible. Working part-time in the Career Center with career counselors at Santa Barbara City College has inspired me to continue my own educational journey to complement my counseling. My life is rich and amazing!
