Arete Music Academy Summer Programs" While weekly private lessons are available to students all summer, we also offer a range of summer music programs to students from ages 4 to 18. These enrichment programs are designed to foster creativities, performing arts skills, and teamwork.Enrichment Program I - Music & Arts Exploration The Enrichment Program I is a two-week summer program for children of 4 to 6 years old. Students will be immersed in hands-on experience of music, literature and arts. Each week students will be introduced to a different instrument family, such as strings (violin, cello, guitar), keyboard (piano), or winds (flute, bassoon). Daily activities include - 5-week Accelerated Summer Program A summer intensive music program designed for students to advance their artistic and musical development. The 5-week curriculum includes music theory, ear training, sight-singing and music analysis. Optional weekly private lessons are available to participants at a reduced rate. The program also aims to prepare students for assessment exams of The Carnegie Hall Royal Conservatory Achievement Program.
