About Me

I have been honored to serve the public through my professional affiliations as Executive Director of the Hofstra University Museum, and prior service at the Heckscher Museum of Art, Huntington, NY. I care deeply about the educational life of our community for all learners across the life span, and the ways that experiences with authentic objects and art from the world's diverse cultures can impact learning and understanding. I currently volunteer on the Boards of the Huntington Arts Council, Long Island Arts Alliance, the Museum Association of New York, and the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums. In 2015, I was honored to receive the Museum Association of New York Anne Ackerson Innovation in Museum Leadership Award for my service to the field.
